Far too soon to tell anything. Plant it in a pot. Keep it warm and moist. Forget it for a few weeks.

What have you done to it so far? What is this 'germination process' you've started? When I've grown them I've done it as above.

so from all the videos i’ve seen, they wrap it in paper towel and keep it in a warm dark place until it starts to sprout and they plant it in a pot. should i skip that part and just put it in soil?

Keep it warm. You don't give your location but for me growing a mango from seed is strictly an indoor activity.

i live in North Carolina in the US. my mom has an area for her plants near the window where they get a lot of sunlight so i put it there.
