Personally, I feel like kitchen ends up housing too much clutter with appliances/etc, so I don't normally do a lot of kitchen specific decorating. If I were staging an empty space? I usually like a pop of wood in a bright white kitchen in a cutting board, or a vase of fresh flowers/greens. Maybe decor that can double as storage if the kitchen tends to have a lot of small table top items. Sometimes I like a rug.

I appreciate the maximalist cottage kitchens where people can add layers of cutting boards, vintage gold framed prints, potted plants, a small cozy table lamp in the corner, layers of spices or other knicknacks; however, I've never personally existed in a kitchen like that, and I can't imagine keeping it clean while actively cooking in the space, etc.

Seems like you have it covered. Glass doors above for the sole purpose of display. Monochromatic space with a pop of color in tea pot on stove and side shelves. Kitchen is a HEAVY function room so decor on the counter just to be in the way, unless one is selling seems more irritating than beautifying to me.

Its a nice looking kitchen overall. Id personally lose the line up of stools and benches. benches seem a difficult choice for counter seating and the column of both the benches and stools seems excessive especially with the lights over the island and bar. they add to the overly linear look and are additionally busy looking.

it is fairly monochromatic space so i would also add art work on the available walls for some personality.
