I'd love some input on my carolina. Currently I have it setup with a sitting area on one side and my office space on the other. It still looks like it's missing life. I hesitate to paint the whole room because I don't want it competing with the view (lakeview). Would a rug help or look like it's floating in the middle of the floor with no purpose? Should I paint the ceiling? Any suggestions at all would be great! It's attached to an open living/dining/kitchen area where the color scheme is black, white and blues. Farmhouse type style, but with a coastal vibe.
