I need help choosing a bathroom paint color

I have an old black and white bathroom that is tiny. This room is receiving a face lift. Not a complete gut. The yellow pic is showing the area to the skylight. I do not intend to keep any walls yellow. I am wondering do I go with the warm beige or the blue in pic 2. Pic 2 shows both colors on the wall option 7 is the shower I am not changing just fixtures to the rohl ones like the ones shown for the vanity Option 8 and 9 are things I am thinking of using in the new Reno 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 are the things I have ordered. I want this to look like an old man lives here. It is an old bathroom with old tile on the wall in great shape I am keeping. I ordered new floor tile to look like the tile that is there just a warmer white. Help with this wall color dilemma

I think someone was right. I have to consider the whole place. That was most of it. Black walls would be too dramatic in this house.

Sorry I think that the black walls would work just fine in your house. Don't overthink it.

You are going for an old man look, not an exclusively retro look. I love a black bathroom but think you are going to verge on a retro look in here if you paint this space black to match the tile. I also don't think you are going to be as happy with it as you will be with one of the greens. You just need to make up your mind and go for it.

I could not agree more. I think the cardamom is the route I will take. I got alot of suggestions that were very very valuable. Butter lemon towels. For instance. I would have never thought of that. And everyone helped me by preventing me from putting all this other stuff in there

I am always open to more suggestions !!!!! The product sourcing is great too

I wouldn't use Dark Night--it's a navy blue. If you want dark, use black or charcoal gray. If you want blue, use a lighter blue. Navy blue and black could look like you tried to match and missed.

Good advice. Sorry everyone had to see my mess !! Ready to get it done as soon as my contractor comes. Have a feeling he will start after football season ends in my area and my winter top comes in. Came in wrong. In the meantime I will be picking paint towels and a mirror for the other wall. Not over the sink

Ok, Adrianne. No more posts about pictures, things to hang on your walls, or towels. You need to get to work here. Pic your paint color. You got wonderful green samples. I think you like the Cardamon. The next think you post here has to be a progress update that the work has started -- or even that it is finished!!!

One of my friends pointed out to me that they know what I am going to pick long before I make my decision. It is the color or piece of art or coat or sofa that I keep going back to and comparing with everything else. You have mentioned Cardamon at least 7 or 8 times over the past 2 weeks. You keep going back to Cardamon. Apparently you like the color. It is the one speaking to you.

Wow I didn't realize that you replaced the floor! doubly impressed!

That's a nice color, Adrianne--it accents the black & white theme, and yet tones it down and gives it some warmth.

Was the grout on the original floor a different color, or was it just dirty?

I do like the wall color you chose, but it looks more gray than brown to me, which is a good thing.

Are the yellow towels and floor mat temporary? With the right selection of those your space will look like perfection!
