Its a small space and the bedroom is even smaller, but if I have to put the desk/workspace in the bedroom I can. It's difficult trying to find something that works with the desk in the living room, let alone figuring out the living room only without that! Any help/tips I can get would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Check Salvation Army stores and any local resale and donation shops for good couches. I found a Thomasville with pocketed coil spring seat cushions that do not deteriorate like foam does. A latex 3" topper can be added or used. Sleep On Latex has them. A big ottoman can act as lounge extension and table. I don't know how old you are, whether you are single or not, whether you are physically fit or not, etc. but if you are young and able, your space might be a good candidate for a loft bed with your desk below. That will get it out of the living room and free up that space. Lots of them have ladders, but there are some that have actual stairs. Some have stairs with drawers for storage. Might be worth saving for or looking for used.

The couch I'm actually selling so it's not staying, I'd like to get a different small couch/loveseat, something more my style and comfier. The chair is 55"x41"x37" (LxWxH), and I've come to terms with having to get rid of it if needed to make a couch work. I'll add pics of the bedroom w/measurements and showing how it currently is setup, the only thing is there's only one window so there's not much natural lighting which I would prefer to have my desk area in, and feng shui also forbids putting the desk in the bedroom, so if I can somehow make it work on the living room that would be ideal! I am definitely going to have to buy some furniture and change things out, but once I can get a simple layout that works figured out then I'm onto the fun part, decor!!

Here are them for the things I'm definitely keeping (for now): Bed is 88"L x 60"W x 28"H, Dresser 57½"L x 18"W x 32"H (I custom made this 😊), Large TV 53¼" x 32¾, and the mirror on my desk (also made by me w/lights 😊) is 30"x36". I also have two nightstands I have to put together that will be going in the bedroom so ignore the ugly ones lol.

I'm not looking for a feng shui theme, just to follow it's principles the best possible, as I have chronic illness and fatigue so anything that can help with my energy/focus/harmony/wellness helps! But I do understand there's no way I can follow everything with my current space (which is actually a lot bigger than the one I just moved from!😩), so I'd like to stick to it as much as possible at least. And for now that's exactly what I'm doing with the couch 😊 currently have a blanket on it as you can see in the pics, but I have been here since the 20th of December, so not in a rush but as soon as I can get things together the better! Hm not sure what you mean can you explain a little more? I put an arrow on the doorway to the living room, as well as to the bedroom on the living room layout, I also put the closets on there which are seen in the pics of the bedroom. It goes from the front door, walk into the little entryway, living room, and straight into the bedroom!

First step is figuring out where the heck to even put furniture that works and what sizes work, then picking things out looking at furniture and decorating 😊 I have lots of inspo pictures

I think I would move around the things you already own. I would divide the bedroom in half. Turn your bed so it faces the closets. I would set up your desk in the other half where the dresser is now. If the dresser doesn't fit across from the end of the bed then move it into the living room with a tv on top. I would use your ottoman as a coffee table. Move the larger chair to where your desk is now and shuffle your couch down a bit towards the bedroom. The bins can act as side tables with a scarf on them.
