If you would like some advice/suggestions re: table size/shape/etc. - you need to make a quick drawing of the area - use graph paper or a ruler (maybe scale of 1/2" = 1'?)

Add dimensions for all walls, windows, exterior doors, fireplace (if there is one), entrances into room, etc.

Also, add several photos of the space and adjoining areas - it will provide people with a sense of your style + the colors you've used in your home. People will even post photos of suggested tables for you to consider if you add a scale drawing and photos.

Your initial post + making it a poll will not generate many comments.

We need all measurements for the DR length is only one I agree a plan to scale is best and we need to aslo understand how many seats you need and your style.
