I think the door is pretty & goes well with brick. I’d like a much larger hanging light & maybe paint the expanse of white above the door a darker color. Or, maybe a metal ornamental hanging decor - after the new light decision made. You’re asking about making entry more appealing - so, here’s an easy thing to do - clean up & straighten out or remove all the clutter around the bench. Add a shoe container to neatly store all the shoes under the bench. The box fan? Doesn’t seem like it could serve any purpose there. Refresh your door mat from the holiday mat currently in place & make it a larger mat that spans the width in front of door.

Great idea about the wreath! Now I am wondering if the current fixture is about the same size as the new one but just more modern.

Well, I see the light comes in medium / large / huge. Which did you order? Larger than the current size would be nice. It also might be nice if hung on longer chain but can’t tell how long chain is on current one. Perspective of pic off from aiming up at light. I’d try for bottom of light being at top of door height

You can have the glass replaced. I'm in FL and we have many companies that replace the glass or even remove some of the wood on a solid door and add hurricane glass instead.
