Curtains for side by side windows

Is it in style to just have one curtain on the left of the left window and one curtain on the right of the right window.

I have beautiful wider panel blackout linen curtains I would like to use with just one on the left window and one on the right window. Unfortunately, I need to use black out curtains in the room and have the piano in this position for now. It feels so cramped with the 4 panels. How far should the curtain rods extend above the piano if this would be in style?

O.K. so this year and next year one panel on each window will be in style. But hooo boy the following two years the popularity drops and finally it is not in style. Whatever will you do?

Your house, you like the look---hang one panel on each window and enjoy!

There’s not much wall space to stack panels back to wall corners. But, I agree with you that it’s cramped as is. Don’t worry about what’s ”in style”. Do what works. Hang your black out panels & pull them to corner. The result will be great for the piano!
