I would keep the wood stained, so that it matches the trim in your other rooms.

Well I am going to change the trim all around whatever I decide.. just not sure if I want to keep it stained or painted. It’s a 80s home.

Any trim in black just seems too dark for your spaces. If you're interested to brighten with using white consider starting with only the baseboards, doors and trim and leave the windows as is. I would look at using same white as cabinets. Then you can re-evaluate after. For some reason the color of the kitchen island is too jarring with your pretty floor, and I can't tell why that color was used. It just doesn't seem to balance right.
