We did, a few photos! I was worried it'd be too bold for my tastes and that the veins would bother me. I ended up working very closely with designer and fabricator to get the right parts of the slabs in the right spot (esp on the hood and across the back of the range). Photos below in a few views/lighting/rooms.

It looks beautiful. We are also considering it but concerned the gold will show too much? Does it sparkle where you don't want to?

The rest of the kitchen is pretty "bland" and so the more bold veins seem to balance that out for me (and designer). I don't find it's sparkling up a storm, I was leaning toward less shiny and more mild, but this doesn't seem to overwhelm in our kitchen.
