No, but I'm considering growing her in the Idaho heat, which we have plenty of. My favorite nursery, Edwards, here in Boise has EV in a 5 gallon pot like all their roses. Most Austins do really well here, but I wasn't particularly impressed with Olivia Rose, another light pink. The voles got that one a couple of years ago. No tears were shed. I like the looks of EV much more that Olivia, so I'll probably take the risk and get her. I just don't like a pale, insipid color on my roses, which the heat and bright sun often create with light pinks. So, anybody out there growing Eustacia? Ben? We want the details, please. Diane

Carla, I’ve only had Eustacia Vye for a year now, but it was a very hot summer. I was impressed with her resilience so far.

Don't put her too close to a block/brick wall. Mine bleaches white here in the summer. A fugly cream white and the blooms get real small. I think she will do better once I move her, hopefully. Our summers are typically humid and rarely gets above 100F. Usually mid 80-90'sF. There is an overhang over this white block wall so she probably isnt getting as much moisture there. Doesn't bother Spirit of Freedom (who is right next to her) in the least. She is a lovely huge sprawling monster with many lovely blooms. I like her better lol.
