Chrome looks fine with gold and it is so universal that if you want to change the rest of your fixtures in the future, chrome would be fine with other chrome or black. But if you go with a gold shower door, it won't have as much flexibility.

IMO with that shower tile no way would I do gold and probably not in the bathroom at all just chrome .

I cant share pictures of bathroom because it’s in the middle of a complete renovation. The house is a fixer upper.

Agree with Patricia. With that tile, chrome or stainless. I would not mix metals, either, staying with timeless vs trendy. Bathrooms are hugely expensive so I would not chase trendy 'fast fashion'. I'm old enough to remember & to have been inflicted with the last time gold colors (pseudo antique brass) were trendy. Save it for easy, inexpensive things to replace.
