Can you get Euro-wall in your area?

When we built in 2021 we looked at Marvin and Euro-wall. We felt we got good quality at a better price point with Euro-wall. We have 5 sets of sliders and we have been happy with them since we moved in 3 years ago.

The only problem we had was with the installer from the window/door distributor, who missed some weather stripping on the sliders. It got fixed, but took some time .

1. WinDor - Poor product but the best of the 3 you list.

2.. JELD-WEN - Absolute junk.

3. Quaker - Worse than the JELD-WEN.

NONE of those.

I avoid sliding doors because I do a lot of lakefront homes with sandy beaches.

What do you mean by sliding door? A patio door a whole wall slider ? I need more info to answer .

If you mean a sliding patio door, then look at Andersen Frenchwood gliding doors. We have one in our kitchen and it's very well made and beautiful. You can get it with or without grills and a double footlock as well for added security.

a quad slider that opens in the middle to the patio and two separate double sliders on different walls.

Possibly a snick above JELD-WEN but I would also put it in the never category.

That's a lot of sliding doors--could be very expensive to get quality products. What's your budget?
