Window Treatment for Egress Window (basement)

Hi,
Thoughts on what type of window treatment for this basement egress window?
Ideally we'd like it to let a lot of light in during the day but also be pretty room darkening for the occasions we have overnight guests. I'm assuming it would be best to mount whatever we go with from that inside frame I marked with the red star?
