Thank you Susan! Its actually a piece of bamboo I stuck in the pot to help support it as the main stem was leaning over onto the floor. Good to know that I can start giving it some fertilizer.

Agree do not cut the baby back. She will be making new basals soon if you take good care. She needs to grow roots before the top growth starts.

She has a natural arching habitus with no support needed.

Agree , no pruning necessary, the plant can grow for at least another year unpruned. Just curious, did this plant come from an Etsy seller called ’Harem on the Hill’? Just asking because I almost got one too, but then someone said I shoud buy from Rogue Valley because they gave a royalty to the Hybridizer.

BenT - Thanks for the help. I bought the rose from Rogue Valley. I havent purchased roses yet from any Esty grower. Thought, I might have to so I can add The Pride to my collection.

Haku, LOL, I looked really hard at that additional stick and tried to see if it was another plant. I guessed wrong! I figured it was from RVR, based on the tag and that it's Marianne :-D
