There doesn't appear to be anything of interest reflected in the mirror. Also, it is too high to be used by a person to see their reflection. Would suggest replacing the mirror with a large piece of artwork. Would suggest that you align the top of the artwork with the heads of the windows on either side.

I agree that art would be better there.

I thought about art but I was having a hard time finding something that doesn't clash with this piece, which is in the same room.

The mirror reflecting the stairs is not ideal. I agree with art instead.

Art doesn't have to match. The one you have is pretty neutral so you should be able to use whatever you find that you like.

I wouldn't worry about clashing with existing, it's very neutral, anything would work.

Will you be adding any window coverings?

Art would be a good choice

If you want a mirror, you might consider one where the mirror is somehow obscured so it's a bit more artsy.

If you're set on a mirror there I would go with something taller closer to the height of the windows. The way it is now it feels a bit squatty.

For me the rounded edges on the mirror are not the right style for the room, they look at odds with the square windows. Also agree art would look much better than a mirror.

Mirrors need to reflect something worth seeing twice so no mirror there
