what color should i paint these floor-to-ceiling windows?

The original plan is to paint these windows black, so the visual focus is on the outdoors.

I’d also like to hang some white roller shades. But I think that might look odd having white shades pocketed inside black cased windows.

To make white shades blend in better, I thought of keeping the jamb extensions and casing white, but maybe that would be too busy?

Or are white windows the answer?

Nothing wrong with black window frames...it all depends on what you want to achieve. I am sharing some pictures of my clients with black windows and an interesting window treatment. The fabric should have a nice texture, so it does not look like a wall. Functional bottom-up top-down shades will also increase the use and design of the room.

Nice photos! Homeycombs are nice. Im not sure how’d they would work with 8’ tall windows. For that reason, im planning on motorized shades. Also i should have mentioned the windows are black on the outside.
