I like the quartz counter top with the cabinets, but I'm not crazy about the flooring. A darker color like Woodland or Vineyard would provide more contrast and warmth than the Sandstone. But you would need to see them all together in person to make the best decision.

As far as a backsplash, you might use the same quartz, or select a tile the same color as the quartz, or even introduce an actual color, perhaps green or blue.

@ things to start I do not like black hardware on white cabinets it is too stark usually. I really dislike 2 tired counters and in samll spaces never . The hardware should be along with backspalsh and wall color the last choices to make. With thta counter I would do stainless for hardware and faucet the black connects to nothing I can see. Once the counter is in then decide backsplash I like a bit of shine in small spaces so maybe look at back painted glass or large format glass tile with matching grout in a colr from the counter . Make sure the bulbs are LED 4000K the flooring for me is going to drive many things it is yellow toned so IMO a darker counter that works better with the floors now.

Depends the look you are going for throughout - don't love the flooring.... better, here, Deer Valley

What is the white, what is the cabinet face style, what is the inspiration, ( a picture) for the kitchen. And you choose a back splash LAST when the tops are on the cabinetry.

White quartz is no more prone to stains, than any other quartz. IT DOESN'T stain ....

It would be helpful to see inspiration pics and learn more about your style. None of your finish choices are ones I would put together but they may make more sense for your tastes. (What style cabinet fronts?)

If you choose the grey countertop, don't use black hardware and faucet. If you are wed to black then choose the white countertop. Neither should stain.

Are you selecting two tier to hide dishes and kitchen mess? In general two tier is impractical you don't have much surface space from either tier and it is a very dated look. Scores of posts on here about people redoing their counters just so they can make the two tier into one tier.

What does the rest of the space look like? What are your furnishing tastes? These rooms need to flow together because they are one open room.

Good advice so far and can’t stress enough about taking your final floor sample with you when looking at counters/cabs, etc.

I'm going to side with other posters about the flooring. Would prefer a wood look to help soften and warm up the kitchen.

Some more details:

-Window frames and door handles are black/ aged bronze-black (50 yrs old)

-Flooring cannot be changed, it has already arrived. I do think it looks better/ warmer in person than on the website. I was afraid choosing a dark flooring would have made the space look even smaller.

-Kitchen-install is going to start this Friday- I can still change the color of the cabinets from "white" to "off-white" but I think the "off-white" will look more like "aging" cabinets.

-Personally, I like the pop between the white cabinets and the dark handles and faucets. As someone else wrote "Black hardware goes remarkably well with white cabinetry, creating a striking and stylish contrast that adds a touch of modernity to your kitchen. -I'm unfortunately very limited as far as countertops. By contract I have to choose what the kitchen cabinet company has in stock.

I'm probably the lone pro who likes white cabinets and black hardware. I have had that combination in two kitchens and I love it. It is much less formal than brass or any silver hardware, which is what I like in a kitchen, especially one with vintage brick and old beams like I have. I personally like a more rustic, casual kitchen.

If you can't change the flooring, can you post photos of the other counter top choices? And the cabinet colors?

@Diana Bier Interiors, LLC Glad to see a pro likes white cabinets and black hardware! :-) The building where this condo is located is over 50 years old, many of the units are still all original, including teak doors, etc. Ours had been slightly remodeled a few years ago.

The cabinets are pure white or "off white" but the eggshell white/ off white looks more like an "aged white". Very slight color difference in the showroom and in the condo

A dark top would be a nice contrast to the floor and cabinets and would work well with dark hardware:

I love your ideas! My favorite is the Kimber Mist (will find out if that's still available) and I do like the Coastal Grey a lot (second photo). We currently have selected "Coastal Blanco" for the bathrooms. Do you like that as well?

I'm not so much a fan of third one (specks seem so tiny) but I can see how it could look very nice!
