Here's what I typically use for outdoor paint that would fit your coastal 1850s home: Benjamin Moore's Wind’s Breath, Sherwin-Williams' Silver Strand, Behr’s Ocean Pearl.

Remove the shutters. Shutters are supposed to look like they are functional. One shutter on each window looks off to me.

Research top selling gray/ blue paint colors and start from there.

You could keep just the lower shutters and remove the uppers.

A pergola arch at the front steps would be nice. A couple of Adirondack chairs, a flagstone pad and some ornamental grasses in the front lawn.

I like the current house color so something similar would be great.
