Would you do ceiling to floor drapes?

It’s a lovely room— look at all that light!Try pulling the sofa 12-18” into the room, with the front legs on the rug. You could add a shallow console table behind it for lamp, a small sculpture, whatever. Place the two arm chairs side by side, facing out the window, preferably with front legs on rug. A small drinks table between them would be nice, but it’s tricky with the high arms. This arrangement will open up the conversation area to include the fireplace. Look for a wonderful piece of art to replace the word art— the space should reflect your own personal taste. Sit back and enjoy!

Oops— a few more thoughts. Looks like the rug might work better if you rotate it 90 degrees. A larger coffee table would be great. Add no more than 3 pillows to the sofa, pulling in the blues from the rug.
