HELP!! Where to stack Smart Drape by Norman when fully opened?

We are in the process of ordering Smart Drapes by Norman. My dilemma is where should the drape be stacked when fully opened. These draperies will be in my Great room which also encompasses the dining room. The draperies will all be on one wall. The dining room has a large window with 2 smaller side windows which open. The great room /living area has 2 large windows on either end of a 12' slider.

DINING ROOM - either stacked to the far left on the wall and exposing the entire window. Or a center opening with a split stack on either side covering about half of each side windows. If I do a split stack the curtains can only cover 6" on either side of the windows because of the clock on teh center wall.

LIVING AREA OF GREAT ROOM - We were planning on stacking the drapery on the far right of end near the built in bookcases . It will cover most of the end window. If we split the stacks on either side it will cover less of the two large end windows but it will only extend to 6" on teh left wall and only 4" on the right wall due to the book case.

Why drpes it does not appear that you have privacy issues I would do motorized solar shades to control heat and UV and let you keep the view unless the drapes are for some other reason I ma not seeing . I have drpes for ambiance only in my LR I have never closed thme in 18 yrs I just use solar shades to control the UV since I aslo have a fabulous view

It is to control heat, and UV as we get a bright morning sun in the morning in the dining room and partially in the living room we are putting in honey comb 1 -1/4" shades in other rooms that face the SE.You can see the sun on the floor in the pictures although it is partly cloudy here today.

I will share your thoughts.

Wouldn't it look funny with two different window treatments on the same wall? Doing blackout Honeycomb shades on the (3) dining room windows and smart drapes on the right side.

In the event we go with the draperies for the dining room and great room patio door will it look funny with the drapes stacked on the far left of the dining room behind the chair in the corner so we get the full view. And stacked on the far right in the living room only blocking most if not of the very far window. would these curtains would add "ambiance?"

We were planning on doing the smart drapes in the master as well. with a center draw with stacking on either side of the wall next to the window.

Truly I’m not being facetious but it seems that taking the clock down & being able to utilize that full wall between the 2 sets of windows would resolve much of the issue with stacking panels off the windows. I wouldn’t want to stack panels towards the bookcase - it’ll clutter bookcase up also hide it. The dining panels could split & stack on both sides.
