Suggestions for this foyer/entryway rug

Looking for suggestions on what size rug would be best for my foyer/entryway, and also where do I position it (centered against the benches, centered against the console cabinet, someplace else?)? Pictures attached of the space. Not looking to change anything else other than figure out the best size rug and where it should go. Thanks!

Get rid of the shoe storage and put the rug in front of the door where it belongs Is this a house or an apartment entry ? Put some coat hooks on thwall no bench it is too long and eveyone takes their shoes to their bedrooms ore one pair per person the space is too small for clutter .

center the rug in the room.

I'd choose the largest rug that will fit the space, leaving 6 inches around the perimeter.

off the rack rugs are generally standard sizes 5x7, etc.

even if just the front legs of the furniture is on the rug.
