Hi there- Anyone familiar with Somerset Color Plank engineered hardwood flooring in

natural white oak? I have 3 samples of the 3.25" width (2 single planks, and 1 with several that I borrowed from a showroom), and both look fairly uniform in color and grain. I also have a sample of the solid version (bottom row in pic), and that has more variation. The company rep told me there shouldn't be any difference (since the engineered is sawn), but so far that hasn't been the case. Granted, these are small samples, and maybe the difference in width makes a difference? But still... I'd love to hear from anyone who can share their knowledge! Thanks!
