Where is it located? Nothing wrong with adding some visual interest in a tourist community.

I once painted a gift shop a bright green with white trim and my mailman asked me if I got permission... now 10 years later everyone is adding color to their exteriors.

Are they opposed to painting each townhouse ONE color? Having each house have a panel matching the house next door makes it incredibly busy looking

I'd be inclined to do 2 shades of blue, white and green.

Slightly stronger colors would be the direction I'd head.

Having twice chaired a paint project for my townhome community, I suggest that you decide on paint supplier first and then have the paint company’s color consultant come up with a couple of color schemes based on your guidance. The Nordic colors shown above really shine in a mountain/winter environment.

Having all one color for each unit seems more cohesive and stately, regardless of final color selection. The siding materials add enough detail.
