Just go for it. Unless the bathroom is actually in the kitchen and visible should not make a difference.

Bathrooms do not need to be the same as the rest of the house often. Bathrooms attached to bedooms are usually the same colors and finishes as the bedroom a podwder room can be totally off to the rest of the house and be a place where crazy can happen . No reason to have all of these spaces he same for flow. I would however disscourge greige for cabinet color it will drive many other choices in the home . I love white and dark walnut together for kitchens

Exactly. Anything goes in a powder room. I'm putting pink flamingos in mine, and that definitely doesn't go with anything else.

I am a bit late to the party but I don't know that I completely agree with the masses.

Having different cabinets in the bathroom and the kitchen is perfectly acceptable, but in both rooms you want something that works with the rest of the home.

Have you created a color scheme for your home? Have you thought about how the various rooms in the home will relate to one another?

I like to create a color flow document that I can use to see how the colors flow from one room to the next starting from where guests enter the home and each room off the entry and move from there room by room to visualize how the colors will flow.

I have three different woods in my home.

Most of my furniture is teak, the guest bedroom is walnut and the doors in my home are birch.

They are all warm toned woods with orange tones.

I don't see a maple or hickory working well with the other three.

I also love lime green, but it doesn't work with all the teal, so I wouldn't use lime green in my bathroom.

Thank you.. I think my issue was the greige.. It just kept looking more grey than beige like I truly wanted and it truly made it hard to choose other colors.. I'm leaning more now to off-white cabinets with walnut wood toned island and walnut wood tones in the bathrooms. We've already picked out our faucets which are black but I think it should still be fine as long as I use black light fixtures because I also really love the champagne cabinet pulls and mixed metal look

This is the colors I'm looking for but my husband does want a more medium to darker floor. I think it should still be ok with the off white and walnut
