Master Bath remodel with large shower

I am remodeling a master bath the the shower is a 5' x 8' shower. There is a small window on one of the the 5' walls. I plan on putting two shower heads on the long wall with glass all the way across the 8 foot length of the shower across from the heads. I am also putting a bench under the small window with the same matrial as the sink counters. Do I need to put some kind of accent tile or maybe a piece of the quart vertically (from floor to ceiling) between the two shower heads or can I do all one color tile in the shower? The bench is a very simple quartz called maximus which has slight gray and brown veining. I was trying to find a large (12X24) soft gray glossy tile for the remainder of the shower. Thoughts on a tile to use?

I don't think you need to put a stripe down the middle unless you want it from a design perspective. You could do a niche down the center and put an accent tile in it or you could frame a section around the controls as an accent. Don't forget to have a handheld near the bench, if you need to sit and shower. You can see these ideas in these pics:

So you are doing two showers as one? That is not going to fly in a lot of locations unless you have a physical separator between the two. You won’t be able to operate them simultaneously if you don’t.

Monique - I'm not sure what jurisdiction you reside in - but I've seen two shower heads with two mixing valves used in the same shower in many states within the U.S. - without requiring a physical separator between them in order to run both shower heads at the same time.

CA does not allow more than one fixture to be used at a time in the shower. Code requires a diverter to switch between the fixtures.

No such codes in FL!

No stripe is needed not sure about the rest since we see none of your choices , I do not think niches are a decor item and have never thought display of shampoo bottles are either . I like a bench in thta size shower but not built in I do not know code about 2 shower heads where you live . IMO CA just makes up code on whim . but you still have to follow it . NO accent tile round the controls either . Post your choices here please so we do not work in the dark I find that size of shower often very cold for one person BTW

A 5x8 shower is huge -- even with duplicate shower heads. I'd consider cutting off 2' and adding a linen closet instead. (Of course, I don't know whether you already have a linen closet.)

Be SURE your hand-held shower head can reach the farthest corners of this shower for cleaning.

I wouldn't do a bench. Instead, I'd go with a movable teak stool.
