Landscaping is what your new house needs. I would go to a landscape company, that will do a design for you, and you can follow that design, if you want to do it all yourself, so that it costs a lot less. Congratulations on your new home, it looks to be a nice house. Please remove that tree next to the entry. Its too close to the house, and the roots can damage your foundation.

It’s a pretty house. Is there a front walk? Where does it lead?

Picture isn't very clear. Post a better shot of the home. Hard to tell: is it brick? Where is the driveway? Walkways from the street to the door are nice but will people actually park on the street? I would remove the shutters. Improving the Landscaping will do wonders.

It looks to me like there is yellow siding under the porch and tan siding in the porch gable. Neither is enhancing your house. I don't think the red shutters are great, either. I'd pick a warm sage or olive for your siding and shutters. A warm cream would work well, too.

There's no path from the door and a fairly sorry looking bush to the left of the porch. You need some landscaping.

What a lovely home! Landscaping is what you need. Do you know your garden zone? Start with a few shrubs, as large as you can afford, not blocking the windows and not too close to the house to start.
