The wall color and floor do not go well together. one should be replaced. a curved console or curved bench would work nicely there, but the challenge would be to find one with the same curve as your wall.

You have warm floor tiles, staircase and wall art…I would add a rug with warm tones and pull more black into the room to accent your stair rail spindles…the wall color is a bit off? so you need more warmth and black

The wall paint color is all wrong for the tile. The golden/orange of the tile just makes the gray appear more blue

Select a much taller tree that draws your eye up to the staircase.

I came here to say the same thing as others: the gray walls don’t go. Looks like someone jumped on the gray train when it was popular and painted the walls, even though the house features don’t go with gray at all.

I agree with you- the gray walls don’t go! I am planning on repainting the whole interior of the house- I will have to live with it the way it is right now at least for another year or so.

Painting the risers on your staircase would really make the stairs stand out and brighten the entrance, I would start with that. I like the plant where it is (just bring it slightly away from the wall), and a black round table would also be nice but judging from your picture without dimensions I would say no wider than 36 inches in diameter.

A warm white paint for the walls would be a good choice, I show some of the popular ones below.
