toilet in primary bathroom

I'm updating my primary bathroom, what toilet would be good to replace the builder grade, sterling? It's in a water closet.

Sterling, American Standard, Kohler, Toto are all good brands. Pick a better series in water brank you choose. Ask at your local plumbing supply what they have been having good success with.

My favorites are Toto--I have Clayton and Promenade, both traditional styles, but they have modern styles as well. They work very well, no problems in over 15 years.

As important, if not moreso, than the brand, are the height, bowl dimensions and single or twin flush. When a twin flush goes wonky, the repair is more complicated and costly.
