I'm loving all of these! I'm lurking looking for inspiration as my oak trees are forcing me to turn to shade gardening. So far; Liberty, Krossa Regal, and Komodo Dragon are my favorites! Thank you all for your beautiful pics!

it doesn't seem possible that I could see this spring look in 2 weeks or less..pic taken March 15 2024..

I love Krossa Regal..these were "free-you dig"..who wouldn't want these?..they were very nice people but I don't understand their decision 🤷‍♀️..their backyard was almost empty..and really sad after I took the Krossa Regals..

I saw a crocus..just one in a random spot..I didn't plant it..

I saw a tiny bit of green poking up under some leaves yesterday where the crocus are 🤩

debra - I've never questioned my Big Daddy but now that you did yours, I took a look at mine. All the pics in the HL show cupped and heavily corrugated leaves. Mine are slightly corrugated but not a hint of cupping. Time to take a closer look come growing season. Thx (I think) :)

I agree….mine can’t be Big Daddy…….may have been mislabeled so many years ago or maybe it was one I thought was Big Daddy, but it’s clear it isn’t. We’ll have to collaborate on this ID idea. 👍🏽
