The biggest change would be to replace the shower curtain and wall art. Both are introducing too much gray into the room. A patterned shower curtain with the tones you’re needing would be lovely.

My definition of ‘spa like’ is minimal and uncluttered/organized so before buying new items to bring in I’d remove everything decorative and unnecessary. I’d focus on organizing the sink cabinet that is there built in so all the potions are accessible but out of sight. Then add in other storage for whatever else needs storing. Then I’d bring in the wall decoration, choose the shower curtain and mat, etc.

Swap out all the gray. Do you need anything that is in front of the toilet? Put the paper the the right of the toilet. Fill the open storage rack with fresh rolled towels.

It is hard to tell but the vanity mirror looks builder grade. If so, consider replacing it.

Consider a linen closet between the toilet and vanity - if sufficient space. Then opened shelves above the toilet(close it).

I like a glass shower screen and no shower curtain the little rack needs to go in fact all the dtuff sitting on the floor needs togo. Greenery needs light I see no window and for sure if spa is the plan no fake plants either I wouldlike to see the whole space please .A nice low profile one piece toilet would be a great change Why taupes and browns at all ? They do not say spa to me only kind of blah. Post pics of all the space and also is this connected to a bedroom then IMO both need to be in the same color choices. We need to see the floor, the shower walls too.

This is a stand alone bathroom. i dont like vibrant colors. i like black, browns, taupes, brass brass, white, green, gray.

The shower is a standard shower, no door.

If you want warm spa... remove the cool spa first. The blacks and grays are cool. Take those accessories out and replace with warm tones- the browns you like. Before you start with that, look to your floor and counter for the tones- don't just pull together a bunch of tones, make it cohesive. Replace the small black shelf- it is undersized for your needs since there is stuff on the floor there. A sleek wood wall unit might be nice.

If you aren't using those black canisters on top of the small shelf, remove them as clutter. Simplify your plants- you have four, all different. Take that down to one or two- if two, make them compliment each other, in complementing containers. Enclose or hide your toilet cleaning supplies.

Agree. Since the shower curtain is a major player in this small room, I'd also like to see it upgraded: More fullness, a little taller, a deep color with pattern. Personally, I'd like to see a shower curtain with a deep blue background and a floral -- it would make the room.

Then pick artwork to match the curtain.

While we're talking color:

- I'd replace the bath mat -- it's too close in tone to the floor, and it registers as "nothing". You can stick with neutrals, but I'd go with something that ties into the shower curtain.

- And I don't particularly like the black accents. They feel too stark /stand out in a negative way -- I'd rather see these necessities in a simple chrome.

I was going to suggest a larger vanity (that tiny countertop is not great), but a linen closet would also be useful. Because the space isn't unlimited, I'd suggest a linen tower cabinet rather than a traditional closet.

And details:

- I like the woven hamper. Every room needs something organic.

- With so little space, I'd add a shelf above the toilet /add 1-2 small, good-quality plastic plants. Again, every room needs greenery or flowers, and you don't have the lighting to keep a real plant alive.

- Crown molding would take this room to the next level.

get a makeup mirror that can be attached to the wall left of the mirror. A cabinet between vanity and toilet - not plastic.

Art could be of green plants, landscape. Try this idea pictured) to add a shower toiletries rack, can be larger if necessary. The trick is a hook that extends beyond edge of shower surround., this one from hardware store. Do not hang toiletries rack on shower head support. Too much weight Darn can’t access the photo will try again 🥴

A wee bit more color.

Polished chrome shower curtain rod and hooks and a warm toned curtain. Warm toned painting.

A spa look is calming with less clutter. Do you need the black shelves? Can you store those items elsewhere? Can you store TP in a cabinet and get rid of the holder? What is the purpose of the grey seat and can you get rid of it.

Get rid of as much as you can and swap out anything black with a warm wood tone, or chrome.

First thing I will suggest to make the bathroom more spa like is to declutter and put everything possible into the vanity.

Some thoughts.

--Remove all the bitty decor stuff and that shelving next to the toilet and toilet paper holder. All that is visually and physically cluttering. Store everything in vanity cabinet.

--Repaint the bathroom a warm white and get a shower curtain in warm white as well.

If you want earth tones, get wood or antiqued metal framed mirror, walls shelves, basket, art.

--Add several wood hooks for damp towels and hooks on the door for guests to hang their clothes.

--Add outdoorsy art with a distant horizon line to add a sense of space in a bathroom lacking a window.

I think if you just replaced the grey pieces with something warmer colored, that would make a big difference right away,
