Which colorways work for the carpet?

last year
last modified: last year

Short version:

I need help with a color family for staircase carpet replacement. I have tile d/s and wood u/s but nothing matches both. Additional curveball is the natural light dramatically changes the color of the tile and the wood during the day. I have to get the carpet in (ASAP) before I can select the new paint color that will go throughout the downstairs and up the stairwell, (possibly throughout the whole house).

Further detail if helpful:

I'll be getting another nylon product with some color variation to help hide dirt and wear, unless a solid color would work better. We have 100% hard flooring due to lung issues, but I do want to re-carpet the stairs for safety and noise concerns. I don't have the budget for wood treads with a runner, which is my preference. Our interior lighting is very warm and that's what we like, but we rarely have lights on, plenty of natural light. Last two photos show the flooring under interior lighting. Thanks to all you clever geniuses.
