I will have to wait and see if any of my seedlings perform well enough in their new climate to be registered. The two I was closest to registering in Nashville got left behind. I sent some of both to Sherry and Kate last Spring to trial for me. If they survive and multiply, I hope to get pieces of them back in the future.

Inimitable X Moonlit Caress was a semi-evergreen in Nashville. Bud count was 14-18 there.

((Palace Garden Beauty X Karelia) X This Longing) was an evergreen. Most years it had 12-15 buds, with one year attaining 16-18. Good rebloomer in TN.

Others that might be registered in the future, depending on their northern performance:

August Frost X Winter's Angel and Spacecoast Francis Busby X Blazing Cannons - The August Frost seedling is a dormant late bloomer that bud builds some years. The first two years it bloomed, it had bud counts in the 40s. My feeling is it will do well here. The Francis Busby seedling is semi-evergreen that's closer to being evergreen, so I don't know how it will fare. It regularly got 12-15 buds in TN, with one year attaining a bud count of 18. It rebloomed some years.

Perseus's Sandals X Jumping Jack Flash - I have two large clumps of this one. As a baby, it survived one of the worst Nashville winters outside in a Solo cup, so I have high hopes for this semi-evergreen.

Destined to See X Green Mystique is a dormant.

Here it is in clump form. In previous years it had 30-40 buds. One rainy year it had 5- and 6-way branching. It bud builds when it gets enough water. Grubs got to it the last two years, so the performance hadn't been that good.

Grandma's Smile X Dearest Valentine is an evergreen with a high bud count (21-43).

Here it is on rebloom last year in hundred-degree temps. It has always rebloomed.

I have several that have proven worthy. I don't know if I will actually take the time and money to register any of them.

**VT Rose Rosy x North Wind Dancer.

1. back is a coral pink reverse bi-tone that has 22-29 buds each, 32" tall, 7" buds, late. sun proof.

2. On the right, summer rose color, 15-12 buds each, 39" tall, 7 1/2" buds. late, perfect every time, sun proof, bud builder.

I also like the apricot-rose color at the bottom, but so far about 7 buds or so, only 21" tall. A keeper for sure. Good increase

**Sky over Schuler x Spirit of the Dove from seeds from Celeste. Incredible increase.

11' buds, 20-28" tall, bright scarlet red, 15 or so buds each.

**So Lovely x North Wind Dancer good increase, barely fades.

Cobalt violet, 9", 38", 9-16 buds [the trio].

The one below them is also a possibility, 9-11 buds 9" flower,

**Carmen Renee x VT the Last Melon

There are several variations of this, barely different. Around 31", 7" buds, 12-19 buds, good increase.

**Full Grown x Chance Encounter

2 varieties but around 7" & 22-25", dusty rose and Violet red varieties. 11-13 buds, decent increase. Love the frills and halo. Does well in the sun.

**Bali Watercolor x Sugar Magnolia

10", 31", 10+ buds, very fast increase. Good shows. fairly sun fast.

all but the 2 on the left. They are Laura Harwood x First Light. I love them but are poorly budded.

**Vintage Wine x unknown.

Cranberry is 7", 31" 17 buds. good increase

Pale one is 9", 23-28", 8-11 buds.

Siloam Amazing Grace x Indian Giver

both around 6", 25", 11 buds.

First Light, my first ever seedling. 5.5", 24" around 10 buds. I would have registered it already if it had more buds.

Brad - Of the VT Rosy Rose X NWD kids, the reverse bitone is a standout for me. It has a unique look, great bud count, and is a late. If I were you, that's one I would register. The scarlet UF out of Sky Over Schuyler is one of my favorites of yours. "First Light" has such lovely, delicate colors and a pretty form! There are many other nice ones with good color and shape.

Perseus's Sandals X Jumping Jack Flash is a good multiplier. I've shared multiple fans with Kay and an NGA friend and still have a lot of fans.

Is the registration process tedious or expensive?

Brad - The registration process is quick, easy and can be done online. There is waiting time to find out if you desired name is approved. You have to submit two possible names. The cost of each registration is $20.

Debra: My eyes are drawn to your SC Francis Busby seedling. Quite a WOWZER........Brad: It's a shame that lavender shades don't look lavender here, so I can only comment on your pictures. My favorite is the Orchid colored one with the white mid ribs. The white mid ribs sets it apart for me. Also, I don't know if this is the same shot as before, but the mixed grouping of colors in your first pictures is so pretty and airy to me. Since they bloom at the same time, I could see a big pot of them waving in the breeze at someone's entryway............Maryl

Debra and Brad, both of you have some nice whites. I also like Debra's Palace Garden Beauty seedling and the SC Fances Busby seedling. Brad, your last seedling has such lovely color. It's too bad the bud count isn't higher.

As you might imagine, I have lots to show, but I am busy today so I will post in batches.

This is my favorite seedling of all that I post. I have posted this before. It is Small World Fire in the Hole X Stoke the Fire. We are just waiting on increase before we register it. It is an extra early bloomer, early morning/cold morning opener with 3 way branching and 22 buds with a 34 inch tall scape. It reblooms too. It will probably be a 2027 intro. The name has already been picked out but I won't reveal that yet.

This is Burgundy Eye Shadow X Heavenly Tiger Tails. All of its siblings are deep red so it is the oddball. I don't have the stats on it yet.

This is Fox Point X Horns. It is taller than either parent. I haven't finalized the stats yet but it has about 4 way branching and about 19 buds.

This is one of Bob's favorites. It is Sea of Cinders X Tet. Spindazzle. It's a great increaser. We don't have the stats on this yet.

This is a late bloomer. It is So Beautiful to Me X Sonoran Desert Rose. It will be named for daughter #2.

We intended to register this one for 2025 but then we found an 'imposter' planted among the lineouts. Actually it was two of its siblings. We wanted to make sure that we eliminated them before we registered it. It is Strawberry Romance X Empire of Dawn and Dusk.

This one is Backdraft X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy. We don't have stats for it yet because it was one that got crushed in the storm.

I usually don't go into such pastel pinks but this small flowered daylily has scapes like trees. It has four way branching and 25 buds on a 29 inch tall scape. The flower is under 4.5 inches. It is Broadway Smile X Laurelwood's Ankle Biter.

Bob really likes this one--Wandering Werribee X But Wait, There's More.

This is Dr Jules Michael Vinkman X Empire of Dawn and Dusk.

Here's the second bunch.

We view this one as an improvement on our Cherry Pie a la Mode. It is Cherry Pie a la Mode X (Stellar Stitchery X Cherry Pie a la Mode). We had hoped for a bigger eye and better edge. The edge still needs work. This is a reliable rebloomer.

I wish this one had more teeth. It does have good stats though. It is 36 inches tall with 3 branches and 19 buds.

This is a smallish flower. I haven't measured yet to see if it is under 4.5 inches. It is Phillies Starter X Bullfrog Kisses.

We really like the big green throat on Ruffled Strawberry Parfait X Alan Lane Agin.

We like bicolors so Susan Ruoff X Fruitful Discovery really caught our attention.

Tropical Fusion X Sabertooth Tiger may be an intro in 2026.

Nan - I'm partial to your red-eyed seedlings. My top favorites are the Small World Fire in the Hole seedling and the Phillies Starter kid. Seedlings from Cherry a la Mode and Tropical Fusion also draw my eye. Ruffled Strawberry Parfait X Alan Lane Agin's big green throat sets it apart.

Nancy, love the Phillies Starter X Bullfrog Kisses. It has a great form, eye and edging! The Cherry Pie seedling is very nice too.

The Perseus Sandals seedling looks as though it has sturdy stems. That big green throat makes such a good contrast. The Stoke the Fire seedling will be anticipated. It would be nice if it doesn't start opening the night before like parent Small World Fire.

Mantis - The Perseus Sandals seedling does have strong stems to hold those 10-inch flowers. The 40-inch scapes have never leaned.

Kay - Thanks for the seedling comments! The seedlings out of Perseus' Sandals and SC Francis Busby came through the winter well and have even multiplied despite their late fall planting. I'm anxious to see how those perform in this zone. They are possible intros. The Palace Garden Beauty seedling accidentally got left behind in the moving frenzy. I sent pieces of it to Kate and Sherry last Spring, so I hope it thrives for them and I can eventually get a piece of it back. I also left "Leonard" behind, so I eventually need to get a piece of it back from you. It's great to see you posting agian!
