We used a black tile from karastan in our basement. Looks like it has grout lines but doesn't.

Why don't you show the adjacent rooms? Why could you not use the same "adjacent hardwood?" and unify the flooring? We have no idea, unless you show what you have : )

Kitchens don't "flood" . Hardwood is kinder to your back. The more of one flooring in a home? The larger that home shall appear.

I don't think I would replace real tiles with vinyl tile.

With your tile I would never have used that white/light grout. I always pick a grout color that blends into the tile, so a dark gray in this case. Maybe try a new dark grout first?

If you must replace the tile, then use the same hardwood floors you have in the rest of the space.

What you have is head and shoulders above what you want. Both in cleanability and durability. You just need to clean the tiles, and seal the grout with an epoxy grout colorant that is close in color to the tile. That's a $40 fix, rather than a 4K one. Plus demo and subfloor remediation costs.

Coretec is usually sold in flooring stores - not the big box stores. Now that I see the pictures of the space, regrouting the floor is definitley an option you could consider if all the tile is in good shape. There are many grouts on the market now that are mold, mildew and stain resistant so easier to clean. I wouldn't do white - go closer tot he tile color.
