TV console/arm - ideas?

last year

In. In our new build, we have a large statement fireplace. The tv will “somehow” be on the wall to the right of the fireplace.

The challenge is that in order for viewers to the left of the fireplace to see the TV, it needs to “stretch” 42” from the tv wall to get “around” the fireplace.

Thought about an articulating arm but that’s a long stretch and maybe looks odd stretched that far, and then need to deal with power cord plug-ins dangling, possible cords to sound bars/etc. dangling. Don’t think I like it. Maybe it would work if we built a book shelf and attached the TV to the front of the bookshelf on an articulating arm - wouldn’t be as far of a reach.

Could also look to some sort of TV console on wheels that could be rolled forward when in use and back when not…could put the plug-in in the floor in a mid-way location….but haven’t seen anything that looks made for a home outside of the classroom. Maybe we buy a console and put wheels on the bottom (workable)?

Any ideas out there?

This is a mountain home with a modern-rustic vibe.

Pic of the fireplace and area to the right slated for the TV is attached.

Thanks.
