The darker one. The light one is too close in value to your cabinets, so there's no contrast, but it's not a true match so it looks off.

But either would be better than the one you have now!

Keep looking. I don't think either one are quite right.

nice looking floor and counters being somewhat attention grabbing I'd stay simple w the splash. if your cream choice is close to the cabinet Id pick that and use a slightly lighter grout . i think the counter will look better w a simple approach to the backsplash..

all kinds of cream shades look beautiful w white cabinets...just tilt the grout a bit lighter. really pretty w your other things.

The other option would be a tile that compliments the white in your cabinets. Get lots of whites and bring them home, see them in your own light. And don’t be afraid to look for interesting shapes. Best of luck.

IMO no pure white with thta counter I do not love beige but with thta counter I would do the top one (the darker )

I really like your wall color next to the countertop. I would try to get a close match to the wall color.

One of the difficulties of choosing a tile in your kitchen is that your countertop isn't all the same color. In the picture you posted with the tile samples, there is a swath of gray in the granite next to the wall. Can you post a couple more pictures of the samples next to other sections of the countertop? Is this gray section only here or is it everywhere? But I am leaning toward what Jennifer said about looking to match the wall color.

Glad you’re not keeping the current backsplash. It looks like a light color tile that works with the cabinets will also work with the counters. The lighter tile in your pic doesn’t look like it works. Looks more yellow/beige. Keep the backsplash very simple due to the pattern in the counter.

The dark one makes sense but the color looks too blah, too band aid. I think you I need to keep looking

Perhaps a matt finish that contains a few shades in the counter and slightly pulls in the wall color, resulting in a less stark/softer look.

We did a cream tile that matched the cream in our granite, White cabinets.

Neither tile works with your counter and cabinets. @Jennifer Hogan 's suggestion seems like a good direction to head in. Can you bring a paint sample of your wall color with you when you look at tiles?

@eld6161 's suggestion doesn't make sense for you situation. You don't have enough cream in your counter to do so.

Do you have undercabinet lights? If so, you should turn them on when you try out tiles.

My son and DIL have the same granite. They put in a glass tile in a color similar to the pic which @Jennifer Hogan posted, close to your wall color. It looks lovely and reflects light under the cabs. Although their cabs are a medium wood shade, I think it would look nice with your white cabs, too.

I think one is too dark and one is too light. Get a few more options. I have the same granite BTW. My tile is outdated but the previous owner did a good job of matching the tile.

The reality is that no one can tell you which tile looks best in your kitchen from looking at a computer monitor. You need to figure out if you want a tile to match any of the colors in your granite, or your cabinets. Then bring home samples to view in your room with your light. If you need validation, ask someone who can be in the room with you. We can only give you suggestions.

You have to not only find something that works with the counter, but something that works with the whole space. Counter, cabinets, wall color, flooring, trim.

The lighter tile works great with the backsplash you have, but that is what is going away.

It does not work great with the trim or the wall color that is staying. They are both far more pink and far less yellow. The counter has some of each tone.
