Hi Lillyfinch -- I really shouldn't even reply! I ordered this rose from the original Heirloom Roses owners, back when they sent the teeny tiny bands -- but it got sent just as I left the country for five weeks -- so it didn't make it. I've always thought I should give it another try. I've had good luck with Harkness roses, and I think this was a Harkness? Anyway -- please get it and share your experience! I am finally growing a Sheer Bliss rose that I found at Heirloom. Years and years ago (mid-90s) I got Sheer Bliss from, probably J&P, and it was wonderful. Then we moved to an apartment without a garden, so I had it in a pot on a ground floor porch with almost no sun, and then planted it in my garden when we got our house 2 years later -- and then a gopher ate it. I bring this up because I loved Sheer Bliss. Magical blooms and incredibly lovely fragrance. I think when I ordered Cameo Perfume I was trying to replicate Sheer Bliss. And now I have SB again...and she's just now taking off. So, all this to say, I've typed a lot and really not helped you at all! But if you are in the mood to try something new -- try Sheer Bliss. And let me know how Cameo Perfume does for you!

I'm not going to be much help, but I grew it when it was called "Renaissance". I got it from Pickering ~1999, and I remember it was a nice rose. But I gave it away ~2006 when I did my big rose cull after reaching 375 roses, so I guess I didn't love it quite enough to make the cut! Harkness roses do well for me. And DD, I also love Sheer Bliss :-D

Edit to add: I checked HMF to try to jog my memory of it, and it seems to have a number of folks who love it!

WellI I dont know anout Cameo but Sheer Bliss is sure pretty!
