Leveling new LG dishwasher

Per instructions I leveled the tub of the dishwasher using required 5 liters of water. Doing took the front of the dishwasher out of plumb 1/4 inch or more top to bottom. Can I forget tub level and simply level and plumb the front of the unit?

If the front is out of plumb, then it is not level. Level has more than a side to side measure. there are 6 sides to a box. All have to be level, plumb, coplanar.

Understood and agree. However doing so takes the interior tub out of level as determined by the manufacturers instructed water/ tub test. Thx

Dishwashers nowadays have an appreciably-low fill volume and a shallow tub base to allow for the "tall-tub" design. Off-level can reduce performance due to insufficient water level in the sump for what "falls down" vs. what is "in the air" to keep the pumped spray at continual full pressure. Presumably that's the angle of concern related to LG's leveling instructions.

You need to first level the dishwasher side-to-side using a level as described on page 21 of the Owners Manual. Then level the dishwasher front to back using the water-level test. I'd then recheck the side-to-side level to make sure that adjusting the two front feet didn't "unlevel" the dishwasher. I don't know what "Doing took the front of the dishwasher out of plumb 1/4 inch or more top to bottom" means.
