I am very fond of pieris, have several and use it often in designs. IMO, you can't beat 'Cavatine' but other than being a very heavily flowered dwarf form, it is not particularly unique.

I'd also consider a couple of the variegated forms, like 'Flaming Silver' or dwarf 'Little Heath. And if you like pink flowers, look at 'Valley Rose' or 'Valley Valentine'.
