Window with grid or no grid?

We are replacing windows in our dinning room (left photo and top right) and front living room (bottom right). I am leaning towards maximizing the view and having as little as grid lines as possible. What is more elegant and timeless?

It depends on the style of your house. Maybe a picture of the front of the house would help.

This is the front. The rest of the windows have the grids. Could I do a combination? Could the large middle window be grid free and sides have grids?

You can if you like, but I would never recommend it. Always looks awkward.

Not a huge fan of lack of consistency by elevation (N - S - E - W).

I would keep the windows similar all around.

I have grids, the way your brain works with vision is that it “fills in” the outside view obscured by the grid itself and you see right by them. I don’t think having the single pane will make as much difference as you think to your view, and the mix of window styles will not be attractive.
