Have you stood on their deck to ascertain exactly how much of your garden they can see? Two of the louvre panels appear to be angled upwards, in which case they can see very little. One is downwards so they can look down. I'd ask if I could go in and check.

If they can see much, you could perhaps have pergola type beam between the two building corners with a vine. Or you could plant a couple of small trees in the beds either inside or outside the fence.

Agree with above to see if you can visit the neighbor's patio to get a better idea of their view towards your yard. I'm sure they are looking to have their own privacy too. Plus, it looks like you have a gate on your fence to consider. But wondering if something like the version pictured below could be done in front of your fence to create more like an alcove inside your fence. Idea would be to hang plants from the top rafters to block more of the view.

The obvious thing is tall shrubs in the planting areas in front of the fence- something that can be trained against the fence but have a big canopy. In the southern us something like a crape myrtle would work great but no idea where you are. Barring that what are the fence regulations in your city or neighborhood? 6’ is the max for solid where I am , you can have another 2’ of lattice above.

They can turn those louvers anyway. I can them walking around their heads in the hot tub so I figure they can see me I’m in KY

That isn't necessarily the case. You're looking at different angles from each other. That's why it's useful to go over there and reconnoiter. I live cheek by jowel with my neighbours, much closer than you, and it's surprising to see the blind spots we have over each other's gardens.

We have similar fencing around our yard and I can't see clearly through them unless I'm standing right at the fence to see through the slats. Perhaps a large cantilever umbrella placed directionally in that corner with small seating area underneath.

Rearrange your furniture and put it under one of these cantilevered umbrellas, strategically placed right in their line of sight.

When you’re not outdoors the umbrella can be furled up.

I very often find that the lack of privacy is more in your head than in actuality . We have neighbors you live up the hill from us and in the winter thay can see our outdoor dining area (who cares) but when all the trees leaf out they can see nothing and thta is when we use the space . That looks to bea 6' fence so pretty sure they are not interested in what you are doing so often they stand on tippy toes to watch you. The umbrella is the easiest and cheapest way to handle this IMO But if you are able go there and see what is honestly being seen. I do find most people do not care what we are doing most of the time.

You need the headroom and pathway for the gate and the gate is unfortunately positioned right in line with your neighbor’s deck hot tub.

Increasing the fence/gate height is your best permanent solution. Your fence run is short enough that the replacement cost for the fence should not be outrageous.

Supplement the taller fence with taller plantings and the tilt umbrella suggestions to provide additional privacy as needed.

This is where we live in the summer, sorry KY yucky rainy day 🙃. Maybe one of these would work but so far it feels so open. I’m so used to not seeing anyone in any direction from my pool area or under the covered patio area.

You can combine a fence panel, lattice top and arbor all together to create a formidible barrier. Get some clematis or bleeding heart climbing on it and no one will see over it.

You might consider a free-standing moveable privacy screen right next to your lounge chairs wherever you place them that day.

We screened our hot tub with Arborvitae, kept manicured.

They would have to be 12-15’ to block the view. How long did it take to grow that tall?

Planted them as 8 footers. Probably took another 4 years to fill in between and reach their height. They were trimmed using an 8’ ladder.

That fence of yours is at an odd angle. What is on the other side? Can we see?

I don’t think they can see as much as you think they can more do they care to watch your family. Plant some shrubs or trees and enjoy your yard

You have an awful lot of concrete. Must be boiling in summer. Would you consider removing some and planting a small tree or two? They do not have to be tall, just interfere with the sight lines.

Something like these that you can place next to your seating or lounge chairs so at least you can relax and sun with lots of privacy.
