We had our ensuite bathroom completely redone, ripped out a jacuzzi tub to put in a new shower. The shower drain went in the same place as the old tub. But the new drain that got installed seems too big for the pipe or something. Should I be able to see the white PVC pipe and all the plumber putty around the pipe? It looks really ugly to me but I'm also concerned about if this is a proper install.
