The first thing I would do is add a media console. You have a nice long wall - you could do one that runs most of the length of the wall - then you won't have to come back and ask, "What should I put on the sides of my media console?"

Many people use IKEA Besta units when building a long media console - it won't be super cheap - but it will be much less $ than a custom one (or one that isn't cheap partical board from other retailers - IKEA uses a hard particle board - or whatever - to build their boxes - I felt them at my sister's - she used them to build a bench in her mudroom - we could both easily sit on the bench at the same time - I weight 120 lbs and she weighs about 140 lbs).

You can use IKEA stock doors - and then paint them + put some sort of continuous top across the top to unitfy all the units (wood is one of the cheapest options for a long top) + add some hardware to the doors to make the units look nice. The come in the shorter size (shown below - about 15") + a taller size of around 23". Some people float the 15" ones (IKEA has wall brackets for this) - or some place them directly on the floor (as in the two photo below):

In both of the above examples, the homeowners added more to the walls above the besta units in order to make the entire tv wall look complete.

Besta cabinets are available in two different depths also (I think around 15" and 8"?).

Besta's also have drawers available - you can mix doors and drawers depending on what you need to store. There are also many third parties who sell doors/drawer fronts specifically for Besta units (the ones used below were from Semihandmade):

These doors are also from Semihandmade - but you could DIY them by adding wood trim around an IKEA door or build your own shaker doors. The slats on the wall + sconces help make the wall feel more finished behind the TV.

This next one looks like drawers were used - but the person actually just made it look like drawers - they added wood dowels + trim on besta doors:

By adding the Besta units that are only 8" (?) deep above, the created shelves + added trim behind above the besta console in order to make th wall completely custom.

By adding a wood top + feet + shelves + adding sconces + handles + painting everything a dark moody color - it looks completely different!

This photo just shows how adding some box moulding above a low console (not besta - but you could make one that looks like this out of besta units) makes the whole wall feel finished (and is easy to do):
