A classic chair with a live edge table (originated by Nakashima) was the Mira or Straight Back chair.

So I think a similar chair or a Wegner type chair in black paint would be nice

I love simple MCM chairs with live edge tables that don't distract from the live edge.

This is a typical table and chair combo for Nakashima live edged tables. The other was the sled based Conoid chair which I find a bit heavy
