I love your roof. Its perfect for your house. Also the color that you now have on the exterior is perfect for your house. One shade lighter would also work. Your garage door stands out as being way too white. I would paint that the same color as the house. I would match the roof color for the trim around the white windows. The landscape looks a bit overgrown, so I would get that all trimmed down and into shape, and then go from there. Its hard to tell, from a picture, when things are so overgrown.

Speaking to the landscape portion...I would remove all of the larger bushes that are up against the house. You can relocate them on your property if you have the room and really like them. I can't see what the plants are that are closest to the grass. Maybe curve that bed out from under the window and plant something with color that suits your zone.

Landscape option

The color of your house is nice. Paint the trim strip a darker shade of olive. Remove the shutters. Invest in a nice wood garage door with windows. Landscape your front yard with plants friendly to your climate, no grass.

You don't show the front door. That should be a focal point. A bright paint color could work since it's in deep shadow.
