The first picture is my current bedroom. I’d like to keep the color scheme, I will obviously get a new bedspread and such and I’m keeping the bed and furniture. But now we’re moving into a smaller (and carpeted) bedroom. Unfortunately, the window shows no view at all, except the side of our neighbor’s house. What the best way to lay out this room so I can maximize space? Should we put the bed against the window wall or keep it where it is? Also, any suggestions for what to do in the little cove above the bed, (of course I’m thinking plants, but that seems so cliché.) I want this room to be as nice as my current room but so far I don’t like it at all. Eventually, we will change out the standardized ceiling fan but for now I just want to get that layout looking cozy. I have a vertical chest of drawers and a horizontal long. Also two nightstands & a standing armoire that’s about 5.5 feet tall. Also, I have a make up table, chair and mirror. I’m stressing because it’s much smaller than my current room. Not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but this Master is right off of the open concept family room. Thanks for any suggestions you might have!!
