This is really bugging me! Let it go, or make a fuss?

We just had our tiny bathroom redone. It took forever due to delayed sink, and then a shower plumbing issue. But it’s finally done.

I chose to go get simple. Simple tiles, polished chrome.

We needed a custom shower door due to size. Now that we are finally in, I realized I made a mistake and ordered polished nickel towel bar and toilet paper roll. I wish the contractor had noticed before installing, but oh well - my fault. That is easy to swap out although I’ll have to eat the cost of the product because the store won’t accept installed returns.

Then I noticed the same thing with the shower handles - they don’t match the chrome. The frame of the shower too - it’s brushed chrome. But maybe that would not have been possible. I don’t know. It’s very subtly, but I notice it. I think this contractor is sick of me. But should I ask him to contact the shower guy about the handles?

Of course I’ll let the frame go - we aren’t going to rip out custom shower doors.

Ugh. I’m having trouble letting this go.

My glass guy said you don't want shiny chrome on the glass surround as it shows EVERYTHING.

I'd swap out the nickel - as that is warmer than the chrome, but I'd be okay with the glass channel.

So the shower door handles match the shower frame? That's good. Truly it's not noticeable to most people, and it will not seem as bad to you with a little time.

(I actually ended up with a couple things nickel and the rest chrome and kept it all and told myself it gives some dimension)

If I were going to bug the contractor about something, it would be the hose elbow being upside down!

I think everything with the shower looks fine. I would just swap out the towel bar.

Live in there for a month and if it is still bothering you eat the cost of the new towel rod and TP holder.

I agree with the hose connection being upside down. That would bother me more than anything else.

I agree to live with it for a while. Luckily it is a bathroom, not a kitchen. Things happen.

I agree with Kendrah. If it still bothers you after a month, change.

The hose is another story.
