You should share some pics IMO painting exterior brick is the fastest way to devalue your home usually and adds a ton of lifelong upkeep too.

Yhank you for inout regarding devaluing home and up keep we did a majoer remodel and u fortunately due to age of home we were not able to match existing brick, hence, painting ! We are using Romabio Madonary Paint hopefully this will help!

Paint colors aren't usually shown accurately in pictures. Natural light changes throughout the day and seasonally. The only way for you to choose a color for your house is to sample colors on the largest board you can maneuver. Prime and paint two color coats. You can buy pieces of drywall at big box stores which is good for paint sampling. Then move the board around to all sides of your house and during different times of day and under clear and cloudy skies to see how you like it. It doesn't matter if a particular color looks good on someone else's house. What matters is how it looks on your house. Not everyone likes the same thing either.

It really would help people to comment if you posted pictures of your house. When choosing a color you need to be taking into consideration your roof color and any decks and hardscaping you have. Are you also going to be painting your trim?

Limewash Brick. Do not use acrylic paint on brick.

Limewash is formulated to allow your brick to breath. Paint is not.

Once brick is painted, it loses its ability to release moisture and dry out because all those tiny cracks and openings have been painted over and sealed up. In colder climates, the level of deterioration is much higher due to the trapped moisture under the painted brick.
