It looks fine the way it is as a neutral backdrop for any party themes/decorations you might want to use.

If you really want to clad those areas, it looks like you need porcelain tile or an equally thin material. I probably wouldn't mix different color/patterns for the 3 areas and would stick to one material.

Easy enough to visit local independently owned tile stores to borrow sample tiles and boards.

Your examples show tile on whole walls, but yours will be cut off on either side by the sliders. The tiles on the outside would have unfinished edges, so you need to take that into consideration when selecting materials. Will you need a matching trim piece, schluter or bullnose tile?

a dark ceiling will bring it in, darken the space.

I would paint the ceiling a very light blue, like a porch ceiling Haint Blue.

Yes, I would tile the bases on the table and cabinet, and the TV wall, but thinking through the choices so they are complimentary. Create a vision board of colors you love, it's an outdoor space, I think you could do something different from your interior space, others would think it need to be cohesive. It's your home, do what you like.
