You need some color and honestly the pillows on the sofe are too many and 2 of them way too big , The chairs do not really work together and why so far out of the space . That TV is color and my eye goes ther so that is what you need in a rug some color , texture go crazy . The coffee table IMO move the chairs in and go big and maybe black iron and glass so the new rug is the star Maybe like this for the rug and then the blue for a couple of pillows and maybe adifferent piece of art too and this for a coffee table Bring some life into the space take chance on a real change some pretty blue linen drapes on the doors too on a black metal rod and the roman blinds the same color

Pat, I moved the chairs in and turned the tv off.

I think when I find a larger coffee table the chairs will feel more connected. Maybe I need a round table?

The problem I‘m having are the tables I like are too low. I at least want 18” tall, preferably taller. Also, if I get a round table I think 36” is too small and 48” is too large. I feel the rug you showed is too colorful and busy for me. I know my tastes are a bit dated, but I like a simple casual style. Thanks again!

I think the room needs a floor lamp, a tree and perhaps a round wood table.

I think drapes on the windows with the shades would be a good addition.

I like the changes you have made. So nice seeing how it could look with a few finishing touches. I think i’m liking the rug with a subtle pattern.

The sofa pillows are actually a dark blue. I was considering making them smaller, but then decided I might be ready to change them out as well. Project creep!

I personally like the softness and finished look that drapes add, but others prefer the clean, spare look of just blinds. Your call . . . :)

I switched some things around with items I have on hand. Different pillows, added tree and moved a few other things. Trying to get an idea what I need to purchase. Thoughts?

I like the next-to-last photo best (with the basket by the sofa), but with a shorter/fuller plant, another floor lamp beside the sofa, and a different coffee table. To me, the room is pretty "leggy" already, which is why I chose a coffee table without legs, but it's your call.

I ordered a few new items for my room. Due in a week or so. For some reason my husband doesn’t want a round coffee table. So, I ordered the first table I posted. I figured it has to look better than what I have. We’ll see. 🤞🏻
